Season 5 of “Rick and Morty” will premiere on Adult Swim this summer.
The hit animated series would return with new episodes on June 20 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT, according to the network. In addition, Rick and Morty Day has been declared by the network. A new trailer was released to accompany the announcement.
Rick and Morty Day, which kicks off the global premiere of the new season, will feature sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes videos, and exclusive surprises through TV, digital, and social media. HBO Max also has the latest episodes of the show available to watch.
“Rick and Morty” stars Justin Roiland, Sarah Chalke, Chris Parnell , and Spencer Grammer. The series was created by Dan Harmon and Roiland, who also serve as executive producers.
Space Beth Still Has A Role On Rick And Morty Season 5
Rick and Morty’s dramatic Season 4 finale introduced us to Space Beth, a replica of Sarah Chalke’s character developed by Rick in Season 3 who has been recognised as Space Beth by others. However, the Star Wars parody never explained whether Space Beth was the duplicate or the original, instead concluding with the Smiths moving on without having to know the answer – much to Rick’s chagrin.
On the plus side, Dan Harmon announced Space Beth’s return in Rick and Morty Season 5 at the series’ Adult Swim Fest 2020 panel in November. Fans will also be able to learn if their hypotheses on which Beth is which are right.
Rick And Morty Season 5 Will Introduce A New Villain
Despite the lack of confirmation for Rick and Morty’s full upcoming cast list, I’ve heard some say they might have cracked who Rick’s next Season 5 nemesis is voiced by, despite the lack of confirmation for Rick and Morty’s full upcoming cast list. Mr Nimbus, who is distracted by Rick and Morty after they fall into the water, was revealed in an incomplete clip from the next season seen during the show’s Comic Con At Home panel.
Even though David Cross of Arrested Development has joined the Rick and Morty cast before, I agree with some tweets that Rick’s impetuous underwater adversary – who seems to be a flamboyant spoof of Marvel’s Namor, the Submariner – sounds a lot like David Cross of the Arrested Development cast. Of course, Mr. Nimbus (as he boldly proclaims his name) isn’t the only new character to look forward to in Season 5.

Season 5 Will Apparently Introduce A New Love Interest For Morty
Morty, thinking he and Rick are about to die in a blazing explosion, takes the opportunity to reveal his feelings to Jessica (Kari Wahlgren) and then saves his ass in the nick of time after she reciprocates and asks him out in the Season 5 teaser clip. On the basis of this scene alone, Morty and his lifelong crush seem to have a bright future, but Dan Harmon would later say otherwise.
The former Community showrunner reported that Morty would have a love interest who is not Jessica in a Rick and Morty Season 5 episode (via Yahoo!) – which, of course, was virtual – but provided no more information. It makes us wonder who this latest romance is, or whether she is Morty’s girlfriend from Season 4’s “The Vat of Acid Episode.” In the other hand, it may be better to stay away from Rick and Morty fan ideas, even our own.
